About Us
St. Francis Private Hospital has been providing outstanding care to the midlands community since opening its doors in 1968. Originally the Sacred Heart Nursing Home run by the Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady, the nursing home was quickly converted into a hospital and later became known as St. Francis Private Hospital in 1998.
Today the hospital still retains its missionary origins delivering 21st century medicine through traditional quality of care. Each patient attending receives first class treatment and support as and when needed, in serene and peaceful surroundings.
The hospital aims to provide a wide ranging, high quality service for all clients, both for in-patient and out-patient services. The hospital is further dedicated to providing the highest quality care in a prudent and efficient manner, in accordance with the philosophy of the Franciscan Missionaries of our Lady.
Our hospital continues to upgrade and expand the level of services it offers patients attracting the best consultants to practice at the hospital. Our staff undergo continuous re-training and personal development so that we can ensure that we provide the level of care and compassion our missionary forbearers sought for the hospital.
